Animations & Jump shots
Jump shots, dribble moves, dunks and signature animations directly influence how your MyPLAYER plays. This is where the central BBZ overview is created for requirements, Recommendations and new NBA 2K27 animations.
The most important animation areas
Not every animation fits every build. Height, attributes, position and playing style decide which combination really makes sense.
Jump shots
Determine base, release and speed the feel of your throw. BBZ will classify combinations by build type here later.
Dribble moves
Dribble styles and signature moves are especially crucial for Guards and Creators.
Dunk packages
Dunk animations don't just have to be spectacular, but rather suit attributes, body measurements and playing style.
Layups
Different layup animations can vary depending on the defense and final situation have different effects.
Signature moves
Player-related movements can Create space and change the offensive rhythm.
Movement
Running, ball handling and movement animations affect the overall feel of your build.
The new dynamic Dunk Meter
NBA 2K27 doesn't just score dunks anymore a static situation. The defense will from the takeoff continuously taken into account until the actual completion.
More space means a better timing window.
With a clear path to the basket The Green Window can be larger. Late defensive actions are countered evaluated differently than a defense, which was already positioned correctly before the jump.
Jumpshots & animations
This area will later become the actual one Animation database expanded. Requirements and recommendations will be filtered by position, height and attributes.
BBZ doesn't publish supposedly best jump shots or dribble moves without a comprehensible basis. Once real builder requirements and Animations are available, they are supplemented here in a structured manner.
Animations are part of the build
A build is only complete when when attributes, badges and animations fit together. That's why our later build recommendations not only contain attribute values, but also suitable jump shots, Dribble moves and finishing animations.
Set build → check relevant attribute limits → Determine badges → observe animation requirements → Choose appropriate jumpshots and moves.
